We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving – we sure did! We also had a busy week working on the farm. We  found time to update our on-line CSA Shop which has a new addition – grass fed beef! So please check out our newly organized store and check out our selection of grass fed, hormone-free, all-natural beef.

Another busy week at Millican Farms!

The promise of rain got us busy with several projects, including the roof on the packing shed and the geothermal heating system in our pond.

October 31st

It was another busy week in Millican – our packing shed is coming along (we have a door, two windows and one side completely up). Additionally, we made progress cleaning out our pond for the geothermal heating system, laid-out the posts and leveled the ground for a new greenhouse and the crops keep on [...]

Week of October 24

This week will be our first week of CSA deliveries, and we’re both excited and nervous. We’re never exactly sure how it’s going to go until we make a couple of trips. Hopefully all our members have their website information – you will need it to access the recipes from Chef Diane. We had a peak at what she is working on and we can’t wait to try some of her squash creations! Be sure to look for her recipe posts on the website every Tuesday. This will be a members only post so be sure your user name and password is working to view the recipes.
