We finally have our “CSA Shop” running and so far everything seems to be working smoothly. If any members want to receive additional items just enter the shop by clicking on the link on the right. You must be logged in as a member to access this section of the website. Any orders received by 10:00 a.m. on the day of delivery will receive the additional items with your weekly delivery.
The lower end of our squash, cucumber and melon field is going down pretty quick after being under water. The good news is we have plenty of each crop for our CSA members, so the Farmers’ Market will get the left-overs after we select the best of the crop for our CSA members.
This week our members can expect to receive:
Beefsteak tomatoes (2 lbs)Pint of small tomatoes Cucumbers
Green beans (Yard-long, 1 lb.) Cantaloupe (full share = 2 melons, half share = 1 melon) Sweet corn (full share = 6 ears, half share = 4 ears) Squash (2 lbs.)
The following items will be used to fill out the full share memberships based on availability:
Herbs (chives) Pepper/Okra/Greens Cabbage/Turnips
