Melon Sorbet

Aime and I found a great treat for the hot months – melon sorbet.

4 1/2 cups melon 1/3 cup sugar 1/2 cup lime juice Alcohol optional

Blend together and freeze. Then enjoy!

To be more specific, we should say “summer squash” to distinguish this crop from the winter squash types. The main difference between summer and winter squash is the stage you eat it. Summer squash is eaten as an immature fruit, and winter squash is normally consumed as a mature fruit.
